VivzCon: Snake and Spam

Original Contest Choice Description:
Option 1: Crack Pairings Draw any ZP character in a pairing with the most UNLIKELY ZP character they could ever be paired with! The most random, or unrealistic the BETTER!!
pairing doesn't just mean like a couple, it can also be like best friends. you can draw them on a date, having a slumber party, playing a board game.. ANYTHING!
no sexual stuff, violence is allowed to an extent..
(example: Venganza x Jack )
xDDD the more random the BETTER! they can be acting In Character and be goin "WTF?" or they can be playing along Out Of Character, either would be HILARIOUS an thats the point xDDD
slash pairings are allowed IF ITS FUNNY! not to visual or serious, these chars mean alot to me, so be respectful with this ^^

My Choice: Snake and Spam

You have to admit, this is a pretty ridiculous concept. I remember about a month ago when I first started drafting the idea for this I was actually thinking of having Snake accidentally grab Spam instead of her gun and then have her pulling on Spam's togue and holding his back legs. Though that idea got a bit too complicated. So I ended up switching over to this idea, when I doodled the gun sticking out of Spam's belly it just all kinda seemed to work. I'd have Snake practicing shooting some dummy targets and then when she went to reload, the unexpecting Spam would walk over and start sucking on the gun tip making drool ooze all down the outside of the barrel.
Ewww.

Now for the technical stuff. I drew the outline on paper using a #2 pencil and then inking it in using my Stadtler Pigmented Liner pens and scanned it up to my computer. Then, thanks to a certain Russian sheep I know who furthered my knowledge of Photoshop's tools, I was able to make it all in pretty color. (That is the technical term.) I started with the base colors, eyedropping them directly from the reference pictures, first. Then added in the effects, with the gunfire, shadows, highlights, and the awesome purple background effect.
Fun stuff, I really enjoyed working on this.
